"All on the 6 or 7 different types of string I've used, this stuff is the best. I double up and tie a knot at the poi head. But has the slightest elasticities you can barely notice and it makes an entire difference."

Maybe not a great purchase for your first fans
"These puppies burn HOT. Like... knuckles are burning for the first minute of burn time. I bought them for my girlfriend and she's not to keen for them. I will say for the price, they are worth it... but if you're serious about getting into fans and fire, just spend the money on something a little better. Sewing the wicks on was a breeze, I suggest using something to dry your hands out to handle the needle work. I used chalk for rock climbing."

"I recently purchased the ball head rope dart and I love it. So far it is a great beginner tool. The quality is great and it was very affordable which is good if you are unsure how much you will actually use something. The length was perfect and I am having a blast. The ball still hurts when it smacks you but that is just motivation to get better!"

Loving my new toys
"I was so excited to get these. They came in in the amount of time I expected. The weight is good for me, as I am recovering from injury and heavy things are too difficult to interact with. Pretty easy to twirl, once you get used to it. My only wish is that the staff part were thinner. I have tiny hands and it would be easier to deal with a thinner staff section, an I believe it would allow me more control. Obviously cannot use conventional twirling batons with a thinner staff to do isolation techniques, as they always make one end heavier to help twirlers gain momentum because it is less about control with regular twirling batons. Overall very happy, but in the future would prefer to find a thinner metal section."

"The handles are nearly impossible to change yourself. You will also need a needle nose pliers to pull the nylon back through. Tried for 2 hours without a pliers and only got 1 through, gave up and drove to town for a pliers and got the other one. I guess at least I own pliers now."

Large LED contact juggling ball
"Very bad sad to say... I was really looking forward to using this in my performance but the balance is HORRIBLE.. the light is attached on the side instead of centered so it throws off every movement of your flow on account of a VERY NOTICEABLE WOBBLE.. The Only good thing about this ball is the USB chargeable battery but the unbalanced design makes this WORTHLESS.. You would think a company as reputable as House of Poi would have balanced flow products for Contact juggling but no.. don't waste your money or time.. The watch battery kind are at least balanced and have more light settings plus the battery life is longer.. Sigh.. Oh well.. I had a show coming up too... NOT HAPPY.."
