RGB Strobe vs Rainbow, What is the difference?

In both the juggling LED balls and the Poi spinning LED balls the settings are the same, the rainbow type slowly fades through all the colours of the rainbow and the strobe RGB type quickly flicks through red green and blue creating a dotted effect.
