thanks for replies- i thought those were my options!! the second gig is an event i have organised so i'll put an interval after the fire act & do the floor cover thing!cheers

I did have a quick search on here but couldn't find advice on this one - so applogies if there is already...I have been performing mostly outdoors or indoors in circus/equestrian venues...

My husband is the bass drummer in Saor Patrol - they are famous in Scotland anyway.... does that count?
