hello, all, yes, i did do a search.
does anyone know where i can hold of a real, non gimmicked, straight jacket, for under $350 aus. preferably in australia.

thanks mech, but ive already seen them though, tis why im looking for a jacket under $350, i dont have $385 to spare on the ones from juggleart, though i may have to save up.

ebay contains a plethora of straight jacket style pants, even more oakley glasses named 'straight jackets' aswell as dress up straight jackets and the occasional tricky magician gimicked ones.
nearest psych hospital sounds like a good idea, i shall look into it. *goes to look for the yellow pages*

those jackets are illegal in most countires,and they will prob not ell you one as they will be illegal.
The juggleart ones are shipped in through customes, and have to be declaired and payed on, thats what they cost lots!
you could make one? if you got some very stiff material, and the leather stras you could get one made?
however it takes only a mekker of secons to get out of on, and you hve to make getting out of it look good, so thats the bit you are going to practice lots and lots and lots!

ok, cheers. i do already have one, and can make getting out of it good,i do have a home made one, made out of canvas, with canvas straps, but i have a felling that it will break in a few months time, thus needing a new one.

i have a screwy shoulder, so getting out isnt toomuch of a challenge anyway.

well pineapple pete put the straight jacket one so your arms are behind your back i tried and failed i tried arms infront and got out
