and I'm as nervous as if I'm walking into a bar full of strangers - so deep breath and here we go...
Just got into poi and i'm pretty crap but it's just such a buzz so gonna keep at it - who says you can't teach an old dog...
a good friend is getting married next august and she's told her mum I'll do fire! no pressure then.
I'm not v good at chat rooms n stuff, they scare me - in fact it's been 3 years since I last went on one but the guy who introduced me to poi is/was a HOPer so i reckon it's worth a try
dya know I was even worried about these fab little things I've seen on people's messages - right over my head i thought - and here they are on the screen - doh!
But now I can't get em on here aargh! 1 step forward, 1 step back.
Hopefully I'll look back on this and laugh in years to come!

Guys your great - thank you so much for being friends and for caring (and for the pizza!). You each have a place in my heart for what you've been to me over the past months - heck it's not even a year and yet I'd trust all of you to the end
I'm kinda coming out of it now, reaching out for help is sometimes the hardest thing for me to do cos I know I'm not the easiest of people...
Skully, if you've got the ideas, I'm the one to do the organising - maybe we should do as Pete says and get our heads together, we could make quite a formidable force!!

Well, my shout worked - Ro's coming round tonight to look at my poorly laptop so think I'll call it quits at work and shuffle off home. It's so wierd after years of leaving the house at 7 and coming home anytime after 7 but I think I can get used to it! Might speak later and if so there should be some pix of Play uploaded.. oh what a weeekend that was

had me chuckling for a while Anyhoo - laptop update (home one not work) it's not just deaded it's going to meet it's maker.... needs a new hard drive apparantly so the 2 hours I spent scanning in pix on Monday were a complete waste of time :heavyshudderingsigh:
But hey, look on the bright side - after next Friday i got loadsa time on my hands
it's an ill wind n all that.

I'm absolutely jolly spiffing actually old chap. Had a nightmare day yesterday and my boss showed just what an a***hole he is and firmed my conviction that I'm well out of it.
Have spoken to a couple of people about what I fancy doing next and doors are starting to open with possibilities - it's a big brave world out there and I'm ready to take it on!
Mind you, the lap top is still poorly and now suspect it's McAfee that's f**ing it up - ironic huh? you pay to be protected and it bites the hand that feeds it.

Well, as the jumper thing was looking like a non-starter I started taking it out bit by bit but think I might run out of days before it's complete - I'll keep you posted
However, the rest of the stationery cupboard is moving quite well.... tho we seem to have a shortage of pencils of any sort, never mind an assortment

can you not just take a little bit of the photocopier every day, then reassemble it in your living room?
