and I'm as nervous as if I'm walking into a bar full of strangers - so deep breath and here we go...
Just got into poi and i'm pretty crap but it's just such a buzz so gonna keep at it - who says you can't teach an old dog...
a good friend is getting married next august and she's told her mum I'll do fire! no pressure then.
I'm not v good at chat rooms n stuff, they scare me - in fact it's been 3 years since I last went on one but the guy who introduced me to poi is/was a HOPer so i reckon it's worth a try
dya know I was even worried about these fab little things I've seen on people's messages - right over my head i thought - and here they are on the screen - doh!
But now I can't get em on here aargh! 1 step forward, 1 step back.
Hopefully I'll look back on this and laugh in years to come!

Waite a minute. If I remember correctly he cleaned himself up right after the cake dive. Now I'm going to have to check for sure.

hello Gidg! Long time no speak - sorry I haven't visited you for a while 
however, as i now have lots of time on my hands 
I can pop in for a coffee more often Hmm - chocolate pudding, Ok but only if there's chocolate sauce to go with it! That was my ultimate favourite at school (in fact the only thing I liked!)
Bit worried about it getting in Ro's beard tho...

Well Cantus you keep on about how old Elaine and I are so I took that to mean you felt you were in the youngsters camp
I personally intend on going through 3 age phases in my life, babyhood, childhood, and loony grannyhood (thats if I live that long). I'm not going to bother with grown up, middle age and old age. They don't look like any fun.

Cantus "boy". The only reason that your safe from me is because there is a continent and an ocean between us. You wouldn't be able to keep up with this "old" lady.
Skully, from what I can tell grown up, middle age and old age aren't fun. I just take a look at my coworkers and family and know that I don't want to be there.
Maybe we should ask Cantus about being grown up, after all Flash says he's over 30. And we believe Flash ... don't we? Growing old is mandatory; growing up is NOT.

I reckon I'll have it perfected by the time i get to the Loony Grannyhood phase - now that really does sound like fun - lots of opportunity for embarrassing friends and family and no resposibility for your actions And of course you can come here anytime you like Bugis, us dotty old 'uns are good with children, it's the inbetweenies that are a challenge...

In that case, no i wouldn't believe a word that "flash" said. Flashfire is an entirely different story. Known her for years, lovely woman, my favouritest moderator. Looked after me when i was a mod
Flashpoint? He's that weird albino kid that spits beer everywhere at Manchester Meets whenever i say something remotely funny. And then complains at me for it. It's his mother he should be blaming. For not teaching him how to drink properly.

I'm not allowed to divulge either Cantus' real name, or his true age, as I have signed the Cult of Cantus official Secrets Act. I did it under a big fluffy duress... He said he would sew my lips up so i get beer up my nose next time he makes a funny. Which, thankfully, is very rare...
