Ok this is an official update of my mouldy old intro. every time that i accidentally bring up the first page of this instead of the recent one, i get a case of "geez i'm a tool writing such a dodgy intro". so i thought i'd put a fresh intro up for me to feel embarrased about biggrin

Here's some information about me...

i live in melbourne, where things are often rainy. raininess makes me sad.

i go to the ever wonderful melbourne sunday spinning, where all the lovely melbourne kids go. If you live anywhere near melbourne and you're checking out this intro to suss out what type of people go on sundays, i highly recommend you come along.

i'm a student nurse, so i get terribly excited about health. it also means that i will intermittently whinge about going on clinicals. i secretly love being on clinicals though.

i'm also a disability support worker, which i've done for ages. i love it heaps, but like any job, it has it's moments.

i live with my boyfriend, who i tend to complain about a lot also, but i love him to bits, even when he gives me the sh!ts.

someone once asked me to sum myself up in 5 words, and i came up with independent, caring, firey, needy and...oh bugger i can't remember the last. i'm sure it was good though biggrin

well, i can't think of anything else to put there, so i'll leave it till i start cringing whenever i see this intro tongue

and just so that the initial comments here are in context, here's what my intro originaly said....

"hey, I registered with HoP a few days ago in a procrastination attempt (1exam to go), and this whole talking-to-people-on-the-other-side-of-the-world thing kinda freaks me out. Anyway, I been reading peoples messages, which seems a bit voyueristic, since I haven't really introduced myself. I live in victoria, and I'm studying nursing, play with poi, but haven't 4 ages. please reply with something encouraging, otherwise I'll get scared and feel unwelcome. frownThen I'll be stuck with playing solitaire."

good to see you last night too petey, you know i keep forgetting to give you your underwaer magic book smile

sakura, i still need to give you your badge, for what it's worth i've been intermittently looking around my lounge room for it since i absentmindedly took it out of my pants pocket

adya, can you tell me who/what cthulhu is? i'm always wondering whenever i see sparkey's title.

i've got me first exam tomorrow, then another the next day, then another the next day. i'm feeling mildly nervous, but not overly concerned. i'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

i hate when i have to double post to bump myself. it makes me feel like a loooooser! biggrin

latest news in the world of bonnie...all exams are finished. i think i did pretty spunky on with them. i nearly feel asleep in the last one not because it was boring, just cos i had a stupidly late night for a pre exam sleep *points an accusing finger at the leaning house halloween fairies* nah it was all my own fault. shrug

now my next big task is saving enough money to see me through a couple of months in south east asia. i've been working like a crazy woman. i been telling my family and friends that i'm saving so they can expect crappy presents biggrin it'll be homemade all the way i tells ya.

aww thanks adya, gold stars are always better than stickers saying "nice try" or "keep trying", those ones just suck.

Hey Bonnie! Thanks so much for letting me stay at your house last night. It was great to see you again smile hug

After you both left I was woken by a monkey-like cat named Saru walking all over me. Then he went under the cover and rested against my hip. ubblol He's so funny and random. I wish my cat was like yours, mine is just savage!

If we pretend this one isn't blurry, it's actually a good photo! ubblol There's a cat hidden under all the blur somewhere!?

I don't know how you can live next to a train station though. From 5.20am onwards I was sometimes woken by the trains going by. They are SO loud! I guess you'd get used to it after a while. ubblol

Anyway. Thanks again hun! hug smile

.All things are beautiful if we take the time to look.

awww, that's my boy! yup, it's one of saru's habits that if he comes in in the morning to walk up the bed, sneak under the blanket and curl up next to me. i usually lie on my side and he usually curls up next to my belly. when he was a litle kitten, when i'd go to bed i'd say "saru, bedtime" and he trot alongside me and we'd jump into bed....awwww! he didn't get to have a cuddle this morning cos he was outside when i got up, so he would have been super impressed that he had another girl to cuddle up to smile

where he's sitting in the second photo is one of his favourite spots ever. i tend to put a blanket up there for him so that when lovely people like yourself come to stay, the matress doesn't smell like saru.

hmm..don't i sound like a proud mother ubblol

it was my pleasure having you over. sorry the trains woke you, i guess me and dan are just used to it.

adya: yup, chillies. they came about after a very silly coversation about dancing with vegies in a supermarket. you know, one of those conversations.

ry: itinerary for SE asia is thailand, cambodia, laos, then vietnam, and yes i will bring an apetite, i never leave home without it biggrin
