been looking at the site for about a year and realised i hadnt signed up...naturally while busy not working at college haha

So yea, hey there grin
im a student studying tourism as im thinking about trying to make a career out of this performing malarkey and i thought an edumacation into related stuff like events management might be useful. closest i have to a job is performing once in a blue moon, hopefully more blue moons this year as the city im in has been given the UK city of culture title bounce2

i know how to juggle 3 balls/clubs/random objects and spin poi and staff, been addicted to the fire stuff for a while and trying to find the money for LED equipment lol

dunno what else to say but wanted to post something somewhere and i thought this would be a good spot to start haha

Also, if you're looking for earth friendly, high quality, rechargeable LED props for a good price, check out Flowtoys! They are my favorite source of LED props.

I can't even begin to describe how great their new Podpoi are.
Check them out!

thanks grin

i like the look of those but theres no word on when theyre next in stock, how do they compare with the ninja LED poi?
the silicone looks like it would be 'nicer' (or however you might say it) on the off chance i hit myself but so far equipment that is 'nicer' when hitting myself feels strange when using it and/or needs repairs more regularly

Yeah they are so soft! I had the flow poi flowtoys sells, pretty much the same as ninja v3s hard and painfull. They almost discourage learning new moves. With podpoi, I can't wait to spend time spinning! The podpoi are perfectly balanced and spin like a dream. The weight is concentrated at the end and not spread out along a six inch line so there is no wobble when spinning. Plus they are nearly indestructible. And even if you could break them, they're covered under a lifetime warrenty that extends to all flowtoys products!

flowtoys has the best customer service I have ever been given. They got a lifelong customer when I found them!

May the flow be with you.
