Today I went to the doctor because I have sore ears, and found out that its because my hair is too heavy
I told her I'm not cutting my dreads. She said, ok, do neck excercises.
Who knew that having heavy hair could make you have ear aches?

Are you kidding? Sore ears because of heavy hair? That sounds ... off. I want to hear how this works too.

really????
...how bizzarr! like i totally get a sore neck/back from the weight of my dreads from time to time... but ears? 
...and i had quite major ear infections and grommits in my ears and the whole deal when i was younger.... seems really odd to me... ...and not to get completely new agey on ya... but ear problems sometimes mean that, subconsciously, you're not wanting to hear something....?

she was actually really cool, and suggested tiger balm and neck rubs
I really liked her to tell the truth. she's the nicest doctor I've seen in a very long time.Basically, because my hair is heavy, and I tend to sleep funny and have trouble moving my head when I'm asleep, it puts strain on my neck muscles, including the front and sides of my neck, which in turn put strain on my jaw, and affect my ears. I definately dont have an ear infection, thats the first thing she checked...
Makes a fair bit of sense to me tho, I used to get headaches a lot because my neck was always out.... Gotta get to the gym more. *shrug*
