Greetings from NJ

Hi everyone. I just got back from 3 weeks in Costa Rica where I learned some basic poi from an amazing teacher, Eli Monte Zuma. I found a school on the internet, La Escuela Del Sol that teaches Spanish, Poi, Surf and Scuba. I signed up for 3 weeks of Spanish and Poi and I had a lot of fun in the most beautiful setting possible. Each day we walked about a mile to an area along the beach that was shaded with palm and coconut trees and learned and practiced poi for an hour and a half. My instructor was so good and all his moves looked so sexy. Every Thursday he and others had a fire show in the street that was awesome. I met a young woman named Molly there. She had been doing poi for years and she came to learn more. In four days Eli taught her so much and he put her in the show and she rocked it. Molly introduced me to Home of Poi so thanks Molly for that. The owners of the school Jeremy and Andrea are excellent fire dancers and I give them props for putting together a school that attracts people from all over the world and offers them instruction in pretty cool things in the most beautiful laid back place. If anyone signs up then mention me so I can go back with a discount. They are suppose to have some pretty heavyweight poi instructors coming in February. Wish I could go. In the mean time I'm trying to get better and I'm looking for others in the NJ area to learn and practice with If that is you then Holla at ur girl. That's me, Toni.
