Welcome to HOP - im not around here much myself these days, but we started a huge scene in bournemouth about 5yrs ago now - every tuesday night in the park by the balloon!
Over 200 people coming at one point! Ive not been for a year or so now but im guessing now the kids are back in school things will kick off - your best best is go and play in the central park, with the amount of traffice going through there you will meet some likeminded folk!

Give me a call Me and Step are off work friday and he may be heading over. Strugz you are far too out of touch to be giving good advice on meets, let the professionals take over please 
Bornemouth meetings are now held down in Boscome gardens on thursdays and sundays I think. I believe there is a group on facebook called Boscombe spinners

Lordy - if you're into Staff you may be disappointed the better staffers aren't always there (me and sichainey) but someone will be able to get you started in most things.
