Hello My name is Rabit and I got into Poi a couple weeks ago again. I started with sock Poi and did that for a couple weeks, but had a falling out with it. When I went to Anime Expo flow toys happen to be there and I picked myself up some Poi and it rejuvenated my desire to learn Poi. After getting the flow toys Poi I finally had the breakthrough and got a 3-beat weave down that had been discouraging me so. Now it seems to have opened up my learning ability for Poi and am having a lot of fun now.
Just a bit more about me, I am a Contact Juggler as well, and have been doing that since December. That is so much fun and were a lot of my practice time goes to, but I am trying to make room for poi as well.
