Been "twirling" since: i got my good-ol sand bags from some hippys in airley beach! if that description fits you feel free to say hi! however my very first time was on school camp in NZ in grade 6. I then started "spinning" when I went to the UK and got teased for saying "twirling"
Occupation: recently returned aid worker

Not that likely, hun...is just a good idea to take precautions until you can get them taken out...otherwise...if they should happen to get infected, then you'd have to be given antibiotics to get rid of it before they could take them out...
The old adage of 'an ounce of prevention beating a pound of cure'...(ye...I know...dark age stuff)
I personally hate antibiotics...think they are evil...!!!
If you do happen to get the echinacea...don't take it for more than 7 weeks...then you have to take a break from it...
Maybe just get some to keep on hand and if you notice that they're getting more than just a bit sore, you can then start with it...
