Name: Carolyn Grace Gavin. Nice to meet you all.

Homeland: Chicago, Illinois! xD
Birthday (sign?): September 26th. I am a Libra. ...But according to the "new" sign, I'm a Virgo. But I'm not, I'm definitely a Libra.
Age: 17.
Sex: I'm a femme.
Occupation(s): I'm in school. Finna be a clinical psychologist, so I can chat it up with Schizophrenics.
Favorite Food(s): Indian cuisine! Ohhh, I could just eat it all day. And I am a vegetarian (12 years strong!), so it works out well.
Favorite Color(s): Any sort or shade of blue. I don't dislike any colors, though. I'm all about colorfulness.
What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow?
African or European?
Toys: Just poi. Got a few home-made sock poi, and I'm all self-taught.
Hobbies other than the obvious: I LOVE anything that has to do with the outdoors- camping, hiking, canoeing, climbing trees. Walking through the woods. I'm a nature person. I like dancing and musical things alot, too.
Education: I'm in high school.
Favorite Book(s): Life of Pi by Yann Martel. Really, really good. It's actually on a legit metal bookmark that has a list of 50 books to read before you die. So you should check it out if you haven't. Also, Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom. Also an excellent book, very human, a bit spiritual. I reccommend.
Awesome guilty pleasure books- The Legend of Drizzt by R.A. Salvatore, to satisfy the D&D nerd in me. And The Thief of Always by Clive Barker. A kid's book, and you have to give it some slack, but I grew up with it. So I love it.
Yeah, I'm a reader, too. (:
Favorite Movie(s): Avatar, the James Cameron one. It changed my life, bros. A lot. And The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Because it's just awesome. Fight Club is an honorable mention.
Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why?
Ooooh, ... Godzilla. Because that lizard got that way from radiation, which leads me to believe that the fire he breathes is also radioactive. Radioactivity kills everyone manning the Star Destroyer.
BUT THEN AGAIN, Star Destroyer's pretty huge, and can destroy stars. What's to say it can't be waaay far away, and pinpoint a destructive, radioactive lizard on Earth and vaporize it? Nothing. So I may've just changed my mind. Maybe.
Favorite TV show(s): Anything that was on Discovery Health before OPRAH went and took it over, Shameless, True Blood, Burn Notice, and pretty much all the 1990's Nickelodean cartoons. But for all that, I don't watch TV often.
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) Oh, this is where I say that? I'd like to be a clinical psychologist. (:
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Ahhh... Way too many to name. I listen to every kind of music, folk to metal, electronic to country, upways, longways, and all the in-betweens. And I'm always looking to expand my musical horizons. So if there's any musics you're dying to recommend, please, do share.

Welcome!
I never got the hype about Life of Pi. Struck me as dull and uninteresting, so I went back to my Asimov and Heinlein. Might be worth a re-read, but life is too short to do that.
We will have to sort out this bizarre liking of Nutella and get you onto the proper 'ard stuff. Also, Nutella attracts squirrels.
