ALL MY MAIL IS HERE! I got all the stuff from FireMecca a while ago for my new fire poi set. Now from HoP I got my ball handles, eyebolts and wire fire wand
As well as the 1 million cards that come with every order.Edit: I'm finally done cutting/taping the kevlar. It better be enough or I'll have a fit. Also the ball handles are wonderful! But I though they'd have more weight to them. Can't wait to get everything all together.
Edit, does anyone know something I can put in the middle of my poi head to make it thicker? I didn't think of how squishy it is...

Edit: I finished one, I had tom make it differently than I originally planed to make it bigger, but I finished it off like me design because it's really tight. It look's SOOO COOL! I'll take pics when I'm all done for ya, this is one sickass set of poi, well I only got 1 of em done, but it will be sickass. I didn't think a poi head filled with an old rag would turn out so good.

Mine too! I got all my rope, my stage balls in white and yellow, my crystal cases with a crap load of mass, and my watermelon flowlights! But I forgot my box cutter, so I need to go buy one so I can cut open the balls...
But when I get that sorted out, I will have my best juggling poi yet!

SoD my husband and I use to commute an hour to see each other back when we started dating 3 years ago, but eventually we decided getting an apartment together would be cheaper and more convenient!
But we both took turns making the hike (across state lines each way) many times a week for a whole year.
It's kinda a pain, but can be very much worth it! I'm so glad you met someone and perhaps she will take turns making the trek.

I had a sweetie once I drove 6 hours to see several times a month.
Refuge: The show was bad-ass. Though I need to figure out what I do when it gets too crowded for poi; I switched to compressed flailing style, but even that took up too much space sometimes. Also this is another Raver Strike on my record. Only one left... (Looks through local event listings...)
Also worth shouting from rooftops: today is seven years with my beloved! I'm getting all misty

My dog just bit someone for the first time, a little girl on the nose... The injury wasn't anything serious, I don't think, but I'm really hoping her mom doesn't press charges. Dogs only get one warning in Seattle...

My local rowing club is struggling financially...but because "rowing is a sport for rich snobs" we are having a lot of trouble finding funding. Yes, our old shed was falling down because we're so rich. Yes, we have old boats (not one boat is a brand new boat) because we're so rich. It got more complicated, it's gonna be a pain in the ass, but we both really still want to keep it. She can't date till she's 16 so I can't actually be at her house. So we can't be doing like multiple day trips.
