Occupation(s): I'm currently a soc/anth student at Eastern University, but working at a cafe/bakery plus leading an inner-city kids without papers choir for the summer (I have a thing for immigration...) and loving it all
Favorite Food(s): raspberries and peaches
Favorite Color(s): purple and yellow
What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? faster than mine, I know...
Toys: right now, just some horses people leave me with
Hobbies other than the obvious: sewing and anything associated with it, writing, riding bicycles/horses, music (piano, guitar, singing), children, learning, immigration
Education: will be a junior at Eastern this fall
Favorite Book(s): "favorite" is so overrated, or at least impossible to answer. Currently reading "Twenty Years at the Hull House" by Jane Addams and "People's History of the United States" by Mr. Zinn
Favorite Movie(s): not much of a movie watcher, but I enjoy those that I do
Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? Heh... see above
Favorite TV show(s): .... or much of a tv watcher
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) why does this question come up so much lately? Ha. I don't have many "plans for life" but after graduation I'd like to spend a year in Mexico doing... something? And I'd like to work with/start an outdoor program for inner city children.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Let's see... definitely Sufjan, Yael Naim, Arcade of Fire, Matt & Kim, Farewell Flight, Seth Martin and the Menders, and too many more. I'm too tired to consider more to write down.
