Goodday all you HOPpers.
Just one more fire-slinging addict here.
My firsttime of fireswinging and firebreathing was with a bunch of collegekids. One of them thaught us how and since that day I've been addicted. I started out with clubs, but I've branched out to poi, staff and will soon take up firefans in my reportoire. (As soon as HOP delivers them and I've had some practice that is.)
Right now I prefer the staff because I like the contact moves and it combines quite well, with my history in martial arts. That's why I suppose I can handle the fans aswell, I once had some classes in tessen-juutsu (fan-fighting). To bad the fans are not retractable, but the ones that are, seem just inferior.
Right now, I mostly show off for friends and family, but there have been some offers from third parties that asked me to perform at special occasions, (weddings, birthdays, that kinda thing.) I don't think myself ready for things like that, but hey, If I have the extra income, I can buy more toys...
I love the HOP site and hope that with this forum I can come up with new ideas and tricks to blow the feeble minds of them non-spinners.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* Marmite would be the one, especially good with some alfalfa
