Not quite sure if this is the right forum...

I'm a languages student, and I'm going away next year (woo!)

I have the opportunity to work in a French speaking country between (end of) February and July... I REALLY want to do fire stuff (and/or something constructive), either in France or Quebec, and I wondered if anyone here had any ideas/contacts.

I speak English, French and Spanish, Ive taught abroad before, been a youth leader for 6 years, worked in marketing for a year, worked in bars and nurseries (not quite at the same time!)

And oh yeah, Ive been fire performing for 2 years.

To be honest, I'll do anything, i'm easy going and fun...

Sorry for the pitiless self-advertisment, but really if anyone has any ideas, please let me know - Im scared of being stuck in a office in the backwaters of Paris with only a photocopier for company.

Speak soon,
Alex

Eww, the French? They eat snails and fish eggs and don't shave their armpits and stuff. Eww!!!

Why would you want to go there?

...if spam is a part of the English heritage...

we can hardly claim cultural superiority.

(although we will always have the best chinese food...)

Anyway, have you ever tried snails?

I've never tried escargots because I was already a vegetarian when my first opportunity came. However, I have tried witchetty grub (the ozzies will know what that is). And caviar. I hate caviar. Just eat some salt rubbed in dead fish and that's what it tastes like.

And for the record, I was just joking. But I love making fun of the French because it's just so easy! Not quite as easy as making fun of New York City, but close.
