Posted:Not quite sure if this is the right forum...

I'm a languages student, and I'm going away next year (woo!)

I have the opportunity to work in a French speaking country between (end of) February and July... I REALLY want to do fire stuff (and/or something constructive), either in France or Quebec, and I wondered if anyone here had any ideas/contacts.

I speak English, French and Spanish, Ive taught abroad before, been a youth leader for 6 years, worked in marketing for a year, worked in bars and nurseries (not quite at the same time!)

And oh yeah, Ive been fire performing for 2 years.

To be honest, I'll do anything, i'm easy going and fun...

Sorry for the pitiless self-advertisment, but really if anyone has any ideas, please let me know - Im scared of being stuck in a office in the backwaters of Paris with only a photocopier for company.

Speak soon,
Alex

we can hardly claim cultural superiority.

(although we will always have the best chinese food...)

Anyway, have you ever tried snails?

Posted:I've never tried escargots because I was already a vegetarian when my first opportunity came. However, I have tried witchetty grub (the ozzies will know what that is). And caviar. I hate caviar. Just eat some salt rubbed in dead fish and that's what it tastes like.

And for the record, I was just joking. But I love making fun of the French because it's just so easy! Not quite as easy as making fun of New York City, but close.
