Posted: Hey, welcome. Im new here as well. I just started learning about all of this really cool cultural stuff and its very exciting. You would think in America there would be enough diversity, like more people would know about the art of Poi (ect.). But, I went to a bookstore yesterday just wondering if there were any books to read about spinning fire. The lady at the desk looked at me like i was a freak....she had never even heard of it! I dont mind though.....im getting to where being called a freak is like being called "open-minded". I take it as a compliment.
