Got this from my friend Nate.
I quite liked it.
Edited it to singular.
This is my staff.
There are many like it, but this one is MINE.
My staff is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My staff without me is useless. Without my staff, I am useless.
I must spin my staff true.
I must spin better than my enemy who is trying to better me.

My staff and myself know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire,
the noise of our bursts, nor the smoke we make.

I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, it's accessories, it's aluminum, and it's Kevlar.
I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage.

Before God I swear this creed.
My staff and myself are the defenders of my art.
We are the masters of our element.
We are the saviors of my life.
