Foolish work network blocks are saying no to your Marmite link, Will. I supppose I will have to reserve judgement for such a time when I will be able to try some.

Good luck finding it in the U.S.

Actually, it's bitter, tastes salty (although it has low sodium), and it looks like road tar. Tastes about as good, too.

It's a taste that you really have to be raised with to appreciate. Much like Vernor's Ginger Ale in Michigan.

I suppose it will have to wait until I finally get out of the country. In the meantime I'll have to stick with the Marshmallow fluff.

Ahhhh that stuff. I love it in teacakes and I think it's been in some big cakes I've had as well but I've never had it in sandwiches.

I bet it's a taste sensation. It's officially been added to the sandwich list.

I did in fact get myself a tub yesterday and made a fluffernutter sandwich for lunch. It was terrific. Also it's good as an ice cream topping and mixed with cream cheese it's a good fruit dip.

For sure! Cheese and jam rocks.

I experimented with a little home-spiced houmous and crisps number over the weekend. Seeded bread. Ver' nice. Sandwich rating ****

aren't some seeds really terrible for you? like the sesame variety, that never get digested and build up in your colon over years and years before they need to be extracted surgically?

i'm not a fan of most jams...texture issue ;f

I've had cream cheese and jam on toast, but not a cheese and jam sandwich.

It also seems that I don't like to spell cheese, as every time I make an attempt it takes several tries. Cheese Cheese Cheese .... Ok that's better.

Are they? I honestly have no idea. I thought seeds were pretty good for you, but I'm no nutritionist.
