Calling all freaks with a persuasion towards fire twirling/juggling and performance - some interest in music/dance festivals will be useful and general fun and frolic essential!
I have been asked to gather a handful (more accurately, a car-full) of people who might be interested in performing at the Winter Solstice Party on Sat 23rd June - it's an all-night bush doof, as far as I know, there's one stage, one chillout tent, and lots of fluffy people.
If you like the idea of getting there and back and in for free (you won't be paid anything), in exchange for doing as much fire performing as you like [fuel provided] - there's also possiblities of doing non-fire spots in the chillout tent - so think UV, close-up, wacky spacky stuff) then post something here or send me a PM.
I know it's late notice, but thought it'd be worth a go!

for certain important reasons, the address won't be released 'till later. it's a luch new site that's never seen a doof before, apparently.

Pete/Bender, if you do fancy coming, let me know your preference as to kero/fire water - I am not fussed, but just rememebered that some people hate kero... I'll see if Fire Water can be provided...

The site is still as yet unconfirmed, but in the meantime the flyer says to visit www.oztrance.com or www.myspace.com/soulquestcollective I don't think the location will be released until the day tho (23rd June)...

i highly doubt i'll be able to make it to sunday spinning tomorrow as i'm having dinner with family friends, however my interests & strengths lie with single staff and fire fans.
Oh, and firewater would be MUCH more preferable than kero, please

Guys, that was some party. Congratulations to Bender and all the people who performed Saturday night. I enjoyed the group doing poi and torch passing.

Awesome photos (as usual!) bender! Good one! I have a heap of ace long-exposures of Pete's awesome twirling, plus fire diabolo and LED poi... let me know if you want a copy of them petey.
Thanks to all those lovely people who helped make the winter solstice party what it was - the organisers made a small profit, and plan to do a summer version of it again, urrrm, in the summer!
