I met an English family a few wks ago. They are travling the world. There are 3 kids with them and they loved performing.
They are in Melbourn next wk for a month and wanted to know if there was anywhere to go have a look at more performers? ( 2 of the 3 kids have used fire) They want to learn new moves etc...
Any help?

Posted: Wednesday nights - at Edinborough gardens off Brunswick street, Fitzroy, is one and kicks off from dusk (usually 8-9pm the fire will start but this varies from week to week particularly on weather). Wednesday nights tend to be bigger than sunday nights and more fire.
Sunday nights - Alexandra gardens just opposite the Victorian Arts Centre in the city of Melbourne (St Kilda road). Most people rock up while there is still daylight ( ala 5pm onwards) . Would be a good time to see performers without fire and willing to show tricks. A smaller group generally but much more closely knit
Posted: There's also the Melbourne uni juggling club. We meet every Thursday at 5:15pm and everyone is welcome! We do a whole range of stuff including juggling, poi and other stuff, so they should definitely come visit! Check out our details including how to get there at www.juggling-club.com
Also check out the jugglejam which is on Wednesday evenings. Check out our what's on page on our site for all the details
