Hi to all you twirlers and HoP lovers!

I'm Malcolm's latest addition to the HoP family with my first day of work here at HoP today (Mon 16th Oct 06) and I see lots of fun ahead (as well as a huge learning curve)! I am totally new to poi so I hope I don't make too many dumb comments!

A bit about me then:

George McNeur, male, age... "enough"!

Family: wife Heather, 3 boys 12, 13, & 15.

Location - Christchurch, NZ.

working career: Electronics Engineering - 15yrs RNZAF, 6 yrs in Test/Manufacturing and 6.5 yrs network products R&D.

You can find out a teensy bit more about me/what I've done at these sites:

https://kiwisoldier.150m.com/now.htm#george

https://kiwionice.150m.com/

and my current main interest outside of work and family: https://aotearoakendo.150m.com/

So, looking forward to the journey, and meeting all you guys 'n girls.

cheers

George

Hippies in trees..

I knew I was never going to be able to live that one down - it was kind of framed a little out of context 'cos we'd been joking along before that... But in my defence even young Rougie there is arguing madly that she's a hippy...

It was probably Brett's (and similar) images that prompted the comment! I think the calendar photo entry had come in just before the interview was filmed ...

Oh, come on now - it isn't that hairy/unruly is it?? In fact it had had a trim before the shoot!
Heather has never seen me without it though, so if there was enough votes or other pressure she'd be keen to whip it off and expose my untanned & nekkid upper lip for all to see.

Brenn, yes, actually that set I used is probably the exact same ones you have now! I shoulda charged you extra for them since they're famous too! And btw, I'm gonna Trademark or patent that wee move of mine, so if you want to add it to the Fans lessons, you'll need to get in quick before the paperwork goes through! ubblol
