Wow! Yer faymmis! Who knows? Next thing you know, you'll be the subject of the loving adoration of the masses at large (you already are for the spinners world) and you'll have limos and a private helicopter to take you everywhere, and then you can even start a talk show with beautiful scantily-clad women to escort guests onto the stage and... I'd better shut up, huh?

I wonder what the top 10 most popular sites on the internet are?

10 most popular:
passport.com
yahoo.com
msn.com
google.com
internetfuel.com
exitfuel.com
gator.com
passport.net
microsoft.com
geocities.com

I also found that Pele's site: Pyromorph.com is currently ranked at 259,593 for traffic and 336,055 for popularity.

For the record, HOP is at 219,169 for popularity.

I'm on a truck enthusiast's message board with a few thousand members. They're popularity for both is 756,936. I find that quite amusing that Pele's site is higher ranked.

I agree that it's probably bogus. Many of those sites on there are listed in alphabetical order. I'll bet only the first couple hundred or maybe thousand are ordered correctly.

if you look at the numbers from around 100,000 to 700,000 they're very similar. only ordered based off of alphabet.
It's still neato for some of them.

It seems to me that these rating .commers are really Rating .Conners! 1000's of dollars!?! That doesnt sound right? Someone always wants a piece of the cake, even when there is no cake!
Anyway this is a great sight, told by statistics and the folks on it!
Thanks Malcolm!

I also think it is funny hearing that my site is "doing so well". LOL...need to get those upgrades going then!

the email you got was probably Bogus Malcolm, but then if you wanted to take a good sample of how popular HoP is, just talk to any spinning backpacker travelling round the world.

Last night we were approached by a spinner who'd lost her staff and was looking to buy another one locally. When we mentioned buying one online, the first words out of her mouth were, "oh yeah! home of poi, i should look there..."

I think i've lost count of the number of times i've given out the address for HoP, and even more for the times they've recognised the address halfway through and said, "oh yeah! home of poi!"

something to be proud of Malcolm, this site just goes from strength to strength, and i for one, am very very glad it exists!

Thankyou for all your amazing work and enthusiasm!

Currently on the right side up of the world.

I have been coming to and from this site for about a year and a half now. I have recently just come back to this site after a few months of not posting. And there are all of these new people here, fake stats or not this site is getting very popular.

Most people who ask me about fire twirling and want to know more about it, I just send em to HOP.
