G'day my Melbourne pretties!
I got a phone call from a lady who has tracked me down wanting me to organise as many firetwirlers as possible to perform at the Shepparton Show, which is on Friday 13th and Saturday the 14th of October.
The Shepparton show is quite a massive thing here. It happens once a year, lots of rides, sideshows, entertainment etc.
She wants us to perform both nights, but I said I'd get back to her about that because I know people have work and such. On the Saturday night there is a massive fireworks display, she suggested performing before them.
If two nights is a bit difficult then I reckon the Saturday one would be good to do because it's the more popular night and I love fireworks!
She mentioned train ticket/petrol reimbersment (just like UberShep 1 & 2) and lots of free stuff!
She also mentioned putting us all up for a hotel too, but there's is always my house again.It will be a different crowd to the other shows we did. 1 & 2 was a Battle of the Band type things with mainly people under the age of 18. The Shepparton show will be full of thousands of people all ages....so it's will be quite a massive crowd!

Thanks so much for expressing interest guys.
I'll probably need to get definate numbers within the next week or so. What time are you working Alex? I can't remember off the top of my head what the train times are from Shep to Melb on Saturday sorry!
I'll find them out soon though.

I work saturday 4 - 7 and sunday (or dunday, as i wrote last post) 7 - 2. Saturday I could miss, but I need the sunday shift - time and a half for weekends.

im interested, but, ill have taken two weeks of work off before hand for going to adelaide. ill see what i can do though

I'm thinking of ringing the lady and maybe just talk about doing the Saturday? It's too hard on you guys making you come for 2 nights because I know you've got other commitments.
Ideally we would have the same amount Friday and Saturday nights but I don't think it's going to happen.
What do you think I should do? Should I call her and tell her we can only do the Saturday? The Friday night is always much more quieter, it will still be a massive crowd, just not as massive as Saturdays will be.
Thoughts?

Hey!!! I resent that Rougie! I do make it... Just when the weather's nicer. Although if you're extremely lucky, you may get to see my diablo skills on display. That is, if my fire one arrives in time, and if I practise enough so i don't set myself on fire in front of a large audience!

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone managed to mention ubershep3 to other spinners on Sunday? I know that not everyone has access to HoP and I'm not there very often so it's hard to spread the word but feel free to talk to people about it!

That would be awesome. I'm not sure if I'm met you or not! I make it to spinning every few weeks or so! Would love to have you guys on board anyway!

I'm going to give the lady a call this evening and ask a few more things. I'm not sure if she wants us to do a routine or if she just wants us all spinning at once. But I'll let you all know as soon as I find out.
