Ooooh...I can't believe I've forgotten to tell everyone my other news!!!

Whilst I was away in Oz, I was granted my first granddaughter!!! (no, Brandi did not have a baby)

She's my son, Joe's, and her name is Joceyln May (Josie)...and she is soooo very adorabubble...I'm hoping to see her for the first time next weekend.

I've only got one pic of her and it's not the clearest in the world...but I'll pop it into my gallery!!!

My ring size is one of the reasons we had such a hard time finding anything...my fingers are long, for a little woman, but they're thin. A size 5 is a bit too big...it's crazy!!!

Thanks for the all the good wishes from everyone. We're hoping to launch the application, very soon. Then it'll just be a wait game. *chews nails*

The funny thing is, when I posted that, nothing was showing in Rougie's post...just blank...then the next time I looked, the picture was there...go figure?

It's warming up a bit, yes...but still too cool at night for nekkid Moon dancing...and around here, the mosquitoes and the ticks would have you for a midnight snack...so, it's best to use caution in such matters... biggrin

Wow, you dug me out of the back pages...I'm saaaaved!!! biggrin

Okay...if you're not on Tribe, I do recommend it, highly...is where I've met most of my dance friends and there's lots of info and links that will open up a whole new world of costume goodness...

A couple good sites you could try out for Cab...or tribal, depending on how you tweak the outfit...

https://www.missbellydance.com
I've gotten a couple costumes from them and their stuff is lovely...got one of the tie-dyed sets...and a white set for my routine to Moondance last Halloween...plus a coin belt...very reasonable prices, altho, you won't qualify for free shipping...it'd still be worth it...

Got a couple hip scarves from this site...the peacock one and one of the triangle Egyptian coin scarves...(I actually prefer them...they make just as much jingly goodness and are not so 'busy' looking)
https://www.aladdinscave.com/

Now...a few tribes you might be interested in...very, very helpful...

https://tribalcostuming.tribe.net/
https://tribes.tribe.net/diycostumes?_cli...b458fe019a58%5D
https://tribalbellydance.tribe.net/?_clic...99787761ac12%5D
https://dancemakeup.tribe.net/?_click_pat...f9d8ab166a3a%5D
(that's a good friend of mine in the main pic, btw...body painted as a Maori healer)

Think that's enough, for now...but if you'll PM me your email address, I can probably send you some interesting dance music...and the AlladinsCave site does have music, too...soooooo...

Till next time... wave

Hello m'lady!!

How's life back in the States?

All quiet over here, except for the fact that....................................................................................my first paper was accepted for publishing!!!! bounce

It's not really on my work, more of a review on my supervisor's life work on the endothelium, but they kindly gave me first author. How excited am I?!

And my cells have stopped dying (except when I want them to). WoooooooOOOOoOOOooOooooo!

And if you ever met him, you probably would... biggrin

Myself and Pat got rather spectacularly glomped by Ed on last Chrissie Eve...he's not a small guy...like getting hit by a Mac truck...but gently...*giggle*

Ed, I will never know how you manage to tackle someone to the ground, yet catch them at the same time so that they don't bust their head open...quite an amazing feat...
