Hi! I'm really new at this but, considering that I'm a Leo with an Aries/Mars decanate and was born on a Tuesday (Aries/Mars again), my next logical step has to be fire dancing. Always loved the primal quality to fire dance and can't wait to get good enough to show off a bit!

Thats not bad for the states. We have been privileged I must admit. Our first year of marriage (1972) was spent in Hawaii, the island of Oahu where I was stationed. Finished in Okinawa Japan 1977-78 and she was with me there for 9 months of it. Travelled all over the US also.

Been fortunate the last 5 years because we both have decent paying jobs and been able to go places. We saved a ton on our trip to Germany because we stayed right with our Exchange daughters family. No meals, rooms or travel expenses really. We paid for the train tickets to Munich and to Cologne, but she got "local citizen pricing" and all five of us (both sets of her parents and her) travelled for around $60.00 round trip for both trips by train. I also have some "connections" in the travel business and have dabbled in travel myself and got our tickets for a reduced rate. It was $1200 round trip from Detroit for the both of us. Also went during an off time, which is something to watch for.

Hey now, I am neither nor I'll have you know!! I used that as an expression. Actually, when it comes to things like plane fares, medications and several other things, we pay a higher price here in the US for the exact same product through the same company. That is because they know we will pay and a lot of other societies look at us and think of us the rich decadent Americans. When our exchange daughter spent her year here from Germany, she had a very different outlook on our lifestyle when she went back home. smile

You're right JT. It's surprising how a lot of people, outside of the US boarders, think that we have money to burn. Most of us live like alot of other people in the world. Pay check to pay check.

OK bek, I bet the alternative you are talking about is instead of growing up, you grow out. Now, there are two types of growing; physical and emotional. I was referring of course to the emotional type. I have done enough of the physical type to get me by for the next 120 years, in fact I need to trim about 60 years off of my physical growth. eek
