Wedding Date Finally Set!

I tried to find my old thread about Dio and I's engagement which would of been around the middle of December or so. The server couldn't find it though frown

We had gotten engaged December 16, 2005 and were waiting to set a wedding date until Dio graduated with his Masters in Mechanical Engineering, which was this past May. He now has a job working at L3 Communications in Greenville, TX. He left to work there at the begining of June and it has only been one month. I miss him though.

Ok so back to why we waited so long to set a date..
First off we didn't want to set a date during a time he would be unsure of at his work. We didn't want to pick a date and then find out later that he couldn't take off for some reason. Second we wanted to make sure we had money to have a nice wedding.

We decided October 28th of this year would be nice. It would be very pretty with all the fall foliage and hopefully be a tad bit cooler by then. cool

I'm happy and excited and can't wait to get married and be together. But I am also kinda scared as well. It is a big change and I will have to adjust, but I think that won't be any problem. wink

We got most of the big stuff taken care of when it comes to planning the wedding. Which is good. His parents are helping out which is nice also.

I hope to have some pics and maybe a bit of highlights footage put online for some of my friends to see since most of them won't be able to come due to college classes and such.

Any ideas on where we should go for a honeymoon?
