How's this... I met my now excellent b/f by doorknocking...!
No I wasn't doorknocking for b/fs
See.. I had been going out with another guy at the time..and we were both very much ganja fiends. Anyways... we ran out of our stash one day (which wasn't a rare occurrence) and we had an argument. I ended up throwing him outta the house and demanding he go and score or else he could stay out. (This was almost 3 years ago... I was doing lots of drugs of all shapes and sizes and it made me into a cranky bitch some of the time). (Ok, a lot of the time). But I'm NICE now Really!!
Long story short.. he ended up doorknocking our street (how silly is that) cos a friend of ours in West End told us that's what she did once when she was desperate. She didn't tell us that it didn't work for her though, till after we tried it...
So this guy (now b/f) answered the door, figured there was no way he was a cop, and we ended up scoring. And I eventualy met him, drooled over him quietly for a year or so and when we were both finally single it was completely just *right* and it's like I've known him for 23987237 years. mmmmmmmm
Although if me 12 months ago was reading me now writing on this thread I would be feeling like throwing up

For many years I awoken alone, cold and in a dark place. Seaching within my own head for the answers of the outside world. Living and breathing what felt like a heavy dark storm cloud.

distorted silence, why hesitate to use the word love? i know the meaning of the word for sure, and im only 16 (u guys make me feel so young though, livin together for 5yrs, MARRIED, not that i don't fully intend to marry Bid). Love can tear your mind away at any age! As for your male friend...
Love is like being at the top of a diving platform when you can't see if the pool at the bottom is full or not. You just have to jump. sometimes the pool is full with their love and you land in the warm waters of their heart, and sometimes the pool is empty, or just not full enough, and you get hurt, sometimes badly. Yes it takes a while to get over it and recover, but i'd rather feel broken hearted than sit there the rest of my life wondering...#
My advice to all everytime is JUMP!
As for Arsn and Valura, im so happy for you both. i truel hope stay in honeymoon land forever! I shall raise a drinkl to you tonite!
