Got initiated to firedancing in Byron '96, firestaff... didn't touch Poi for 3 years after hitting my balls with heavy firepoi, dared another try in 1999 and proceeded, got my kix in Koh Pha'Ngan 2002, then started a professional career shows in Germany, Brazil, India, held workshops worldwide...
...not the greatest spinner at all, ceased training two years, but am back into it...

English is only my second lingo! Please take this into account... as a German I would often say "can you" instead of "could you please"... not engaging much in popularity contests and definitely not too much into Social Games and Chat. Idle talk is really something I consider not worth the precious air.
But definitely Nutella................................ on creamcheese toast or Belgium Waffles!!!

So last night... passing on that private party in this Russian nightclub, instead staying home, readin g a book and falling asleep over it... walking to the bedroom an hour later and sleeping properly in my bed... wake up.
Why? Dunno.
There it is again. Some noise from outside. And there it is again. Gosh there must be someone out there.
I get my pants and want to have a look. Switching on the light, I see my gardening "axe" lying on the padio, next to it a cloth and a stone. I look at the lock on my outer gate (outer, steel gate and then comes wodden door)... it's severely damaged! WTF!!!!
In fact it's damaged to an extent that I have to leave the house from the backdoor - which I am doing, armed with a flashlight and .... well the basis of my next firesword.
Dunno what exactly I have been thinking.... errm, wrong: I thought it would only be one guy (who apparently forgot his sarong on my gardens wall)... I'm searching and (fortunately) can't find anyone, but barking neighbors' dogs, so I go back to sleep. Yeah I know: stay in the house or bedroom. All nice in theory ( to Lurch) - but this ain't the US, this is India.... )
My killer-kitten did neither warn me, nor loyally stayed in the house. As a matter of fact, next time I've seen her was next morning, coming in and demanding food.... Little bugger...
This morning I reported to the cops, who came to take a brief look and promised to watch the area bit more close. This evening two cops on a bike passed the house (little more remote location, still next neighbors are not further than 30m's away). Why I didn't call the cops immediately? Because my cellphone #1) got stolen and #2) got lost prior....
This year the entire season is starting early
Hope to sleep safe and sound today

Heard that story of the guy where they broke into, locked his bedroom door and started clearing the house, not without plundering the fridge and even cooking some food in the kitchen. Son came home in the morning after the party, found his dad hammering the door and shouting to set him free India is allright and there are ways to protect ones self from misery by investing into (a) solid lock(s)... Haven't ever heard of any tough violence happening.

Well not my preferred choice, but what to do when no(human)body else wants me. Even though I'm desperate for some cuddling and snuggling *eyebrows falling off, still wiggling* I'm not really advertising my self as single or compete with the other folks... I'm not into exploiting intoxicated females either, so all this puts me on the loner side of Goa I might not read the signs properly, but I feel completely neglected and unappreciated by the female world, which is certain and slow death of a man (according to "Women are from Venus, men are..." out of nowhere (<- funny enough this can be read two ways)) which is why I start organize events... no ordinary job= time at my hands, no relationship = more time it all has a flipside I guess.
However, better late for work than not at all, dear... I wouldn't mind, as long as the work gets done. But that's me - in India.
And no, it's not me in the ocean. In 4 month I felt like going swimming twice. And one of the occasions has been in the South. I don't like the beaches here, I don't like the water... or the submerged (volcanic) rocks, or the sand which is so sticky, one has got to wash it off...
After the convention I'll go South for a holiday. A week or two at least. The water is clear, the beach wide, no rocks and the sand makes this squirky sound when you kick it. No tourists, no hawkers and hardly any locals on the beach. But pls don't tell anyone

Sorry, I seem to lurk more than I post. Today however, will be the exception that proves the rule.
It's sunshiney here. Still cold, but that's OK. Maybe soon the wind will die down enough that I can get outside to spin again. After 4 months....

Here everything closes down... the German Bakery, where I spent most of my (restaurant) life in the past 5 months closes tomorrow... only breakfast and then tik-he ('enought have').... the boys pack up and head to the mountains
It (still) is sunshiney here - SPF 30 and still get burnt after 3 hours...
I'm packing up too...

I'm kind of sad too, because now is the best time in Goa. Almost everyone left, it's sunny and quiet. I like it this way. Letting go ain't easy
However it's not getting boring: I got my house to pack up, a business to license, tax papers to sort, a residential permit to file for, packages to pack, to be sent to Bansheecat and my mom, transport of my Enfield from Goa to Delhi to arrange, the profit of last convention to donate, the next convention to schedule --- all this to be concluded in a weeks time or so, because I need some time on the beach.
That special person subtly deployed a comment on 'pale skin' that she wouldn't mind... To me that's a margin call or am I completely missing the point? After 6 months in Goa I still look like a Pommie and not remotely as a freedom fry...

The baggage carrier will get chromed, higher handlebar, different indicators, backrest for the pillion, change the taillight (no indicators at the moment) and (yes) for long distance travelling she *will* get a windscreen - no objections, please

Franzi indicated that a chromed Ganesha on top of the headlight would round the appearance and I'm certainly considering it and the front numberplate is a bit nakid... any suggestions what to paint on it (in Hindi)?
