Well my name is Emily,
I live in North West London and work in the West End in a furniture showroom.
I have been playing with the pois for nearly 4 years now and have been a member on here a few years ago but forgot my sign in name and password. Hense Being a newbie (really not liknig that term). I started playing with the poi when I was 19 in Adelaide (South Australia) bike wire and tennis balls, spent half the time chasing tennis balls into the middle of the sea when they flug off the wire.
Got back from traveling South East Asia where I was for 7 months. Got to get back to the real world unfortunatly. India is next on the lst though. Have to itch those feet at some time.
So yeah this is me. Any other questions, fire away
!!!!

Hellllloooo!

welcome

India is wonderful. Went there last year when my brother got married in Neemrana. Rajisthan is fantastic. Don't drink the milk - I came back with Salmonella and Campyla Bacter.

Cup of tea and a bun?

biggrin

That was the plan before I went to Asia, Was supposed to fly into Nepal but spent three days in Quatar before having to be re routed to Thailand because of fighting between the Muslims and the Maoists. Shame really wanted to go to Nepal and to Tibet and then through the Tibetan Plateau into India and then through into China.

Wow. Tibet and Nepal would be the most fantastic places to visit! You planning on going there another time then?
So where did you spend most of your time in the end? Thailand? (I know of worse places to be!!)
biggrin

Deffo not complaining about where I ended up South East Asia is mind blowing. I had the best time over there. So beautiful and life changing. I travelled all over. I started in Thailand then went to Laos via slow boat down the Maekong back to Thailand and over land into Malaysia and then to Malaysia and through into Borneo, back to Malaysia and Thailand and then to Cambodia and through into Vietnam and then finally Thailand again before going to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon party. Spent most of my time in Cambodia though really. Fell in love with the place though Vietnam was fantastic. Dalat in land was like Switzerland in another country. The architecture was so Swiss as well as the weather if you can imagine that but yet with Vietnamese culture. Awwwwww, I so miss it over there.

What if your backpack is nailed to the floor? Or filled with really slippery rocks. Or you have no money? Or your sense of direction is so bad that you get lost on the way to your plane and end up stuck in the toilets at Heathrow for 7 and a half months?

You just haven't thought this through have you? hug

When I went to Australia I slept in a Heathrow terminal untill some one wanted to sell there ticket to me., Ended up paying £150 for a single there and then just got a job when I arrived. Would save and then move on when I had enough money. Cash is never an issue, there is always a way.
The whole slippery rocks idea, well that may cause a problem a proper [censored] to pick those things up. biggrin

I never met any Hoppers, though I did meet some cool spinners on the beach in Adelaide that may of been, never thought to ask though. Was the first time I ever spinned and after that I was addicted.
Do not think that there is any way that I would stay at some ones whom I met off of the internet unless I had met them a few times before, and even then you can never be tooooo carefull
