Nope.

I believe in lust at first sight... And that lust may eventually turn into love over time (even a short amount of time) creating the illusion of love at first sight.... But love definately goes deeper than anything you could see from the outside.

I agree with Pounce though, in that you can love people youve never met.

I dunno tho, because I remember the first time I saw one of my exes... I really really remember it. And it wasn't that I thought he was terribly attractive altho he was certainly cute, as I tend to think people I date are... but there was an indefinable something about him. We broke up, eventually, but it was a great relationship, and there's definetly something that was just *there* from the first moment i saw him, whatever it was....

Example #2: The first time I actually saw a certain best friend of mine hug there was just... a connection. Knew I could always trust him, that we'd always be special to each other... we both felt it. And it was directly from first sight... nothing as complex as lust or relationships involved in this one, but love, yes, is involved.....

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmz i have a quote from a great man..........

"Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable."

Then i became a bitter and twisted cow, although Flynt still thinks i'm "cute"
I dont anymore, love exists, i wont deny that, but it takes a while for it to be meaniningful.

I'm more of a "friends first" girl.

Love at first sight seems romantic, but I dont really think its possible for me. Ive had experiences where Ive met a guy who seemed nice, but the moment I got to know him I was immediately put off.

So... sorry, but I dont believe in love at first sight. Maybe lust at first sight...

Totally belive in love at first sight.Sure it takes a while for the love to gain hold in getting to know someone first (be it over minutes or years), but it can start at a glance.Defenitly.

i agree, when i first met jen (teejay_blue) who actually was the one who introduced me to hop etc, we clicked, she is an amazing friend and i love her to bits, but we hardly ever get to see each other cause shes working away but i can say i honestly trust her with my life, she is an amazing girl who deserves the best ubblove

but when it comes to love at first sight i agree with the whole lust love connection in a way. ive not yet met a *click* with a guy frown

Lust, yes and love maybe, I mean, people have experiences when they look at someone and dont feel particularly attracted to that person, yet they still care for them more than they would normally.

Yeh i believe in love at first site. But some of you are talking about Lust, thats one of the seven deadly sins, right? Surely thats a bad thing, to lust for someone, isnt lusting when u are only thinking of ur own personal sexual needs for that person and only that is what is in your head is to basically shag him/her. But its not like 'ahh shes hot i'd shag her' its like a obsession. Am i right there? Is that what lust is? Please correct me if im wrong i alwasy thought thats what lust meant.

^ Yes your right, but IMHO lust is only a "sin" if it causes you to harm people as a result. Lusting after someone is simply a realisation of your willingnees to have sex with them... i.e. theyre hot... Lust may turn to love if you like the personality of the other person.

Do I believe in love at first sight? Yes. You may fancy them straight away, but that feeling blossoms when you've been taking to them for 15 mins, and you could quite happily talk to them all day, without wanting to get inm their pants, so to speak.

Do I believe it's possible for me? No. I truly don't believe at the moment that I am in a place for this kind of thing to happen, physically and mentally (Any HoPper who has met me will testify that I am not the best looking chap in the bunch, in comparison, and that i'm also quite, quite odd)

However, one day I have faith that things will work out, and I'll be more of the kind of person someone falls in love with. The pills help tongue

So, best of luck. Love comes from within, as much as it comes from without.
