I just saw the Lion King theatre production.

Absolutely amazing. Incredible. Perfect. Spectacular.

Wow.

Kind of makes me want to do something with my life...

It's just so beautiful and nice. The songs, their voices, the drums, the storyline, the music, the sets, the COSTUMES!

*sings 'can you feel the love tonight*

I love you all! hug *starts sobbing uncontrollably*

This has given me an urge to see the Disney Version again...

Not such a bad thing, one of their better creations...

I saw it last Wednesday (the stage show) and you're entirely rightr Roarfire. Zazu had my favourite performance (what a clown! biggrin) and while all the costumes and a good deal of the set (I won't speak of the drums, it'd take too long if I really exaimined it) were absoultley brilliant Timon's puppet is the one that captivated my attention most. I want to talk to the costume designer and make something similar up for my act. biggrin

Edit: Lion King love to you ALL!

Yeah! The Rafiki lady was the best...assuming you guys had a similar actress. She was a biggish south african lady, her voice was just...amazing.

My favourite song would be when the lionesses come in and we meet Nala for the first time when she says 'I'm hunting with my mother'. It was so powerful!

was crazy, while the show was in sydney i was working for the company who was selling all the tickets, then about 4 months after i left melbourne it finally left sydney (after close to 2 years) to arrive in melb. *sighs* sucks cause i prob would have got free tickets had i stayed in melbourne!
*sighs*

might see it one day... hopefully.
really upset that i missed out on it, everyone who i spoke to who had see it absolutely loved it and were taking friends and family because they had enjoyed it so much the first time. was scary how quickly the tickets sold!

the stage show isn't in america anymore... to my dismay... but I did recently see disney's lion king 1 1/2.... timon a pumba's story. that, my friend, is a riot

I'll get there too late if I shorten my stride, I'll get there too soon if I find me a ride, I'll never move forward if I try to hide this path that I've troden one step at a time.
