Alright. Just wondering about the etymology of yer handle. Does Cantus have anything to do with the Latin verb Canto, meaning to sing? You know, the root word for chant, enchant, etc?

And does that post up there say you are coming or not?

well if you check your own dang message boards Magnus then you'd know that me and she have both been on the confirmed list for at least a week....

With regards to the name: I've given up explaining to people that it's the name of a character from Fraggle Rock. Nowadays i just tell folks it's Latin and they seem happy with that. Although Millhouse found out it's latin for singer and now keeps expecting me to burst into song....

Erm excuse me Mr The Jedi. Don't just stand over there giggling. Think of a name for the mouse of a few posts back. Julio has already been suggested. I'm hoping to draw a quiet veil over that though....

Sweet trailer. I'd like it more if the voice-over guy didn't make the word Madagascar sound like "Madder Gas Car".

You really shouldn't watch the making of Madagascar documentary on the dvd then. There's only one of the makers that doesn't say it in an annoying fashion.

I have a hippo called Pogo. His name is Pogo Charleston Hippo.

He and Bugis watched Ice Age together earlier. Then spent the rest of the evening trying to persuade me that I really need to get them a big hairy heffalump and a grumpy kitty wiv big teef, like this:

Polythene promised him (bugis) a thylacine ages ago. But has thus far failed to deliver. So I really need to find another geneticist who's up for a bit of gene splicing etc...

Hello Fraggleman.

I would like to point out at this stage that the mouse should be called "Phillipa".

Or "Deano", "Gobo", "Snark" or the eponymouse "Jerry".

I'm trying...
