I'd have gone back to myself my Freshman year of college with some bits of advice:
1) Come out now. It's hard, it'll always be hard, so just get it done now.
2) Join Masters swimming NOW. Don't put your body through the torture you put it through (when I got fat in college).
3) Live in a co-op next year.
4) Let your hair down. Try some things. Go to raves, enjoy being young. Stop trying to be older than you are.
