Seems that an introduction is a must so here goes - took up spinning 2 weeks ago at a festival whilst waiting for the right wind to kite buggy - had a go on fire poi doing the weave after a few hours and am now hooked!?

Don't know anyone else who spins, but from all these postings you all seem to know each other - hopefully someone will say hello to a newbie?!.................................. ubbrollsmile

Thanks for all the hellos guys and gals here are some answers to all the questions.....
kite buggying is the art of being dragged around in a three wheeled buggy holding onto a largish kite. Great fun - needs wind and big spaces so the opposite of poi really...

the festival was GETSHMANGLED small at the moment but should be getting bigger with a great chill out tent full of massive bean bags and great music - a good shelter from the crap weather

not sure what you need to know about me?!umm: :umm

Really addicted to poi already - like the fact that you have to get into it and can't concentrate on anything else - and that there are always new things to learn and try - not better or worse than kite buggying just really different and I reckon quite complimentary - can't kite in the dark

back soon lolsign ::

more about myself - well real name Clare - tend to use shorty on-line as I am gravitationally challenged but someone already has that on this site so kitey relates to the kitebuggying.
Older than most of the newbies it appears - now hit my 30s!?

Have a real job but try and forget about it during time off hence poi, kitebuggying, snowboarding etc.

Thats all for now Folks!
