I just joined up so I thought, out of common courtesy, I'd stop by here and say hello to everyone
My name is Teayam, I'm 21, a girl and I come from the UK. I'm a total beginner and am here to learn as much as I can about spinning poi. So far this site has proved a wicked resource and that's without talking to anybody yet! So yeah, I'm hoping I might learn a thing or two from you guys as well
I'm starting off with the simple stuff... and poi that aren't gonna knock me out when I manage to whack myself in the head with them... but I'm a bit of a self-confessed pyro so I would like to give fire poi a go somewhere down the line. I'm not even going to think about it until I've mastered at least some of the more complex things though... as much as I like fire, I don't like it on me

We're a helpful bunch and i'm sure you'll learn loads off people on here, i gave my first lesson at beautiful days on Sunday haha.
Where in the UK are you from there is bound to be a group meeting somewhere near you!!!

Thanks Aryth Nice one on giving your first lesson... I'm gonna try and find out about the odd lesson I think.
I'm currently in Hertfordshire but as of September-ish time I'll be flitting between here and Worcester as I'll be living there for uni. I'll look into groups in either area Thanks again!
