Hey everyone..

Well, Im Grant, 17, from Glasgow, Scotland. That was a horribly structured sentence. Anyway, a little information about me.. I started poi about a month ago and have been trying to teach myself since. Doing my best, but I'll be meeting some people on Sunday, which Im hoping might help m,e uot a bit. Also, might make myself a few friends in the art, and have other people to talk to!

I listen to all sorts of music, from metal to chillout. At the moment, my current favourite song is called "Let Go" by Frou Frou. It's used at the end of "The Garden State" (Possibly the best film..ever.). Overall, I'm a fairly laid back guy..just get on with life.

At the time being, Im a photography student at college. I eventually hope to go to Uni for this. This is probably part of my attraction to Poi, because it's so spectacular visually. If Im not performing, I'll be photographing!

Anyway, hello from me, and I hope to see more of everyone on here!

Blah blah blah blah blah.. Blah blah?

Joe: Dude, I love Frou Frou. If anyone thinks anything of that, that can be their problem to deal with, not mine! Heheh. I haven't heard that cover, perhaps you could send me it? I'd be interested in hearing it. Also love Imogen Heap, considering it's pretty much the same person, just minus the dude from Frou Frou that I forgot the name of. Guy something or other.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, feels good to know that Im not alone! Hehe.

welcome hey Stalker

ive just downloaded that frou frou track. just to let you know, ive never heard of this band before (even tho my music knowledge is quite expansive), so therefore have no preconceptions of how 'cool' they apparently are not. but i like this track. its got a techno quality to it that i enjoy. i specifically like the part where she starts singing the chorus.

you might enjoy some beth hursch (the lady from air, moon safari and jakata-all of those you should download too), and some alice russell and quantic soul orchestra, there brilliant.

ok, well enjoy your stay neighbour. let me know if you like any of the music listed either here or by P.M, and we can have a chat about it
