Not, you understand, that I do anything interesting. In fact, I only tried staff and poi for the first time on Wednesday. Fun. So I'm here to annoy people, and obviously to look at the free lessons. ...Am wondering how to watch the lessons and practise staff at the same time at the moment, because I don't think my living room is big enough to allow me to spin anything...

We tried printing them out and reading them to each other as we learnt..that was amusing.
Tried short sticks and poi, also amusing.
Go to meets....lots of fun and easier.
Is it the Truth?

OOps, I just realised that everyone else has done the "vital stats" thingy... so I guess I should do that really.
Name: Sally, but please, call me Aly.
Age: 16, 17 in October!
Sex: yes. Obviously. (Ok, I'm a girl)
Location: North East of England. And I hate it.
Toys: what? Oh, you're referring to the male of the species there... Ok, seriously now: I play the cornet and the guitar (latter: not well) . And I now have a make shift staff. (Ok, it's a broom handle with some ducktape on it...)
Been twirling for: Well, I tried it for the first time on Wednesday night.
Occupation: Student. (Type thing...) or babysitter... or just annoying kid with red hair.
Other hobbies: Sex. *laughter* Seriously: making people laugh, reading/writing fiction. (or songs, poems, whatever...) Making up tongue twisters!
Colour: coulor of what? Hair? Red and dark brown. Note: that isn't my natural colour. I don't have a favourite colour. If it's bright and not pink then I like it. (and not orange or yellow either.)
Book: Whatever I last read... I have favourite AUTHORS not favourite books.
Film: I don't watch those. I tend to get distracted by the constant making out.
