Brand spanking new video starring aimee, squarexedge, flapjacks and gemma.
Lots of girlie spinning, flags, fire and in-the-sea fun as filmed by the laim collective.

(at this point i must thank 3btwill for protecting our bags while we were being clever and stuff)

video clicky clicky

Ok Aimz im supposed to be working but cant be bother today so ill comment:

As a look at what we got up to this weekend - it was great biggrin

Always good to watch female spinners - too many blokes round here these days ubblol

Video suggestions:
(negatives for me)

Use tripod more
More toys i rekon - no sign of a staff frown
A little less scene changy towards the end, you seem to have gone for all the trix you do, but have cut out your flow / body movement / footwork - i know you have it as you can see it start just before the clip changes again wink

(Positives fo me)
loved the day time start night time finish
differant locations are ace
Sea spinning is always good - there should be more of it smile

As for you spinning crit:

Ill wait for Roz to get back from germany - i here shes a bit of a poi spinner wink

All in all though hug good work smile keep the hastings spinning scene coming biggrin

hehe thanks fr your comments.

staff? us girlys don't do any of that tongue
Mike was there yesterday, but he didn't have his staff with him frown

You try doing bloody footwork on hastings beach in flipflops/barefoot wink I wasn't necessarily trying to do all my tricks confused just spinning like I usually do..meh

sea spinning = waff

i have around 7 minutes footage of it. mostly of koo and laurel screaming 'im getting wet im getting wet' and me screaming 'spin spin already!' not good. i salvaged what I could of it. *shrug*

thank yee for the contructive criticism smile more boys and staff next time (flags were our favourite yesterday)
hug

No worries Aimee (where do i get that special e thingy from for your name?)

More staffage - dont make me come down there and teach you! wink

As for filming....... generally from our meet ups we have about 4-5hours of footage that gets shrunk to 3-5mins........ that way youve got loads to choose from and it generally make a video much easier to make....... saves making the best of what youve got biggrin

Stones - agreed........ sorta - you not seen my vid, on a beach, lots of stones but im moving around...........admitadly im not wearing flip flops though so ill let you off wink

cool

are you standing on a slidey slidey shingle bank though? curse the council (they are the reason we are spinning on the beach, because they suck)

aimee said pretty much everything i would have said..i think we picked the wrong bit of the beach to spin in the sea, we were on a slope with fairly heavy waves coming and threatening to knock us over. hopefully we'll get some practise in on my beach over the next couple of weeks.

anyway, when are you gonna come down and show us how its done, huh?

Strugz - Go the first weekend in september. I'll be there too, then!

Then we'll get to show these east sussex people how we do it in west sussex/hampshire/surrey...
