I'm new here, obviously, well I've actually sorta been hovering around for a couple of weeks watching a couple of the videos and trying to pick up some useful tips etc. blah blah but thought I'd pop in and say hey
Am new to this whole poi thing, only been doing it for about 3 weeks now, was inspired to give it a go after watching some friends doing fire poi and I thought it was bloody wicked and my son loved it too! Am improving slowly but surely, have mastered several tricks including behind the back butterfly and over the head butterfly, a weave and a few other bits and pieces I don't know the names for, am really loving it though
I'm from Exeter and I don't know anyone down here that's into their twirling so if you're from near-by gimme a shout, always up for meeting new people

We do have exeter/taunton spinning meets although they aren't on throughout July because there is so much else on such as [Old link] (which you should go to because it is going to be fantastic
) We should be having some more meets in August which you are welcome to Tell us more about yourself! We're a nosey bunch!

ello again all, cheers for the replies!! You asked to know more about me, well well well I'm a 20 year old mummy, most of my mates know me as Shroomy, have recently stopped working to spend more time with my son Roo who is fookin ace, and also to get back into some of my interests and my me-stuff! Everything interests me really, I love to be busy and doing lots of different things, some of these are painting, music(of all sorts), mixing, raving, trying to surf and more recently poi plus tons of other stuff! Ooooooh I'm not really a veggie, just hate anything with beef in, yuck!! I am a veggie at heart though for all it's worth which is probably nothing.
