i think people needed a little ray of sunshine through the dark cloud so here is one.
Reead through this thread and you will see compassion and love and a hope for a humanity that this F**ked up situation has brought about. In this thread you see humans caring for friends and not happy till they heard there loved ones are safe. granted im sure there are still loads of people who are looking for people but it does give us hope for the futrue that there are people like you guys out there.

This is weird.
The terrorist attacks at 9/11 were directed towards Millitary & Economic targets in America, but the attacks today were all attacks upon public transport. The G8 summet and hell, the IFOS (International Festival of The Sea) with naval presence from many country's and over 5000 ships & British Royalty would have made more sense. Post 9/11 Canary Wharf was under lock-down due to a possible target.
I hope that everyone in London's and their family's are well and that everyone we can't find yet gets in contact soon.

The G8 Summit was very well protected... as most military sites are. The transport network is an easy target.
Loyalist and republican terrorists here used to attack civilian targets for maximum damage and disruption. Also, the attackers will probably claim that the US/UK attacked innocent targets in Afghanistan/Iraq.
If it was Al-Qaeda, and that internet claim is genuine, their 'warnings' were shameful.
It seems like a grating comparison to make, but bombers here used to give half-hour warnings and bomb locations so people could be cleared... (not so in Omagh though).
And
for fear-tine

I sincerley hope all of you and your friends...everyone really are ok.
This could well be a dumb idea safteywise I'm just now realising, but some sort of music pumping into the street, even some spinning entertainment (probably not fire while people are jumpy over explosions) oughta help relax people, and calming people down, making them happy's gotta be a good thing now. I'd consider it a personal favour if someone in london would start something nice playing now.
Good luck and hugs to everyone being victimised and tied up with it London right now, especially everyone like the emergency services doing things to help.
