Well, I don't know when in July I'm going yet, but I intend to be running around england this July. I have a friend in York I will hopefully be staying with, and a variety of people like a Lolli and a Cantus and a Dom and a Durbs whom I really need to see (and Kali insists on me meeting Te Pooka particuarly Minero... you're blue cat now, right?)
Anyway- I want your suggestions where I should go, who I should stay with, what gatherings I should attend. I know I've been off the boards a bit lately, but I'm hoping there's still friendly people around willing to show me a good time. Lightning insists that there are.
So help me plan!

I will be about for the first week of July, away from the 12th - 22nd, falmouth as soon as I fly back until the 25th then about until the 3rd or 4th August.

It does seem like everyone will be there and like I should get some sleep before hand because that may be my last sleep for awhile.

Falmouth is like a big party/convention in Cornwall. We stay at a campsite a short walk from the beach, party, spin, juggle, uncycle, generally mess about and have a good time. It's really relaxed and there's a really good attitude from the people there. Oh yeah and it will help you put names to faces for most of the UK HoP people. And you may well see new toys you haven't seen used before. And get to have a go with them! Oh yeah and if there's ANY poi/staff concept you're having difficulty with, odds are someone will be able to help you with it there!

So in general it appears I will be in London the 6th-11th, and wanting people to show me around altho I understand Ros will be down on the weekend. Then, assuming I can get ahold of Miss Lolli or someone, I intend to head up to the infamous sheffeild. From there I'm expecting to hit uberpoi, and from there I run away for a few days to york. Then I have to figure out how to get to Falmouth, by bus, train, or shefffieldian poi-er. Then I go play in Ros's lovely fairy home, and then I find a way to meander back to London and I have to fly home and work. This is n't set in stone, but its about what I'm planning with Ros's wonderful help.
Now, isn't that how Edinburgh is spelt? Like, on maps? My understanding is that its pronounced something like "eh-den-bruh" (thats a slightly american english thing at the end.... its not ooooh, but what in the IPA is a schwa). but then again I've only ever remember hearing a Derby native say it.

and then going where the wind takes me, hopefully following blue around a bit to learn more moves, hopefully to hang with glass and dom and spiral and fluffy and cantus and vanize, hopefully roundabout to where the breakbeats and raga are... I'm searching for Freqnasty gigs, gonna pull some strings... looks like I may be around for 2-5 weeks.
and i'm certainly not avoiding any cutiepatootie fairy spinner girlies and fellas wherever they may be, if they think they can keep up ...

haha, I still can't imagine what I was on when i did the title. I was all confused..... wondering if i'd been reading maps wrong all my life....
anyway, besides utter confusion (I can't even read the Falmouth and Uberpoi threads sensically anymore) planning is going well- people figure I can handle a tiny suitcase with my backpack (for weapon like objects plus if i pick anything up along the way...) I need to figure how to borrow a sleeping bag though, if anyone has any suggestions...
Also, the awesome yellow poi dom has... surely you all know what I'm talking about... someone remind me were those made by glass? I don't want to randomly start pm'ing people requesting wonderful insane (trying to avoid saying uber) poi until I am quite sure I have the right person
Another thing can someone distill any info I need to know about uberpoi/falmouth in terms of money/accomidations

Bluemog will help you with uberpoi, which costs £45 for the mind-blowing poi-trip of a lifetime
Leave train/bus/lift plans down to Falmouth til closer to the time and various others sort out what they are likely to be doing
As for the beginning of your trip I'll wait til closer to before I say for sure what I'm up to but there be hoards of lovely london folk to help you out

And I made noise over in uberpoi, but I can't so much send a deposit, so you just all have to belive me. I suppose I could send something once I get to england, but that might get all complicated tooo...
I do have my plane tix, I get in on the 6th of July and leave sadly early on the 27th. I got a nice deal considering its summer travel And I just got a check for about ten dollars more than the price of said tickets today

He may not have seen this email yet, though. And as for those poi, They are dom's day glo yellow poi and I want a pair!!!!!! So if you made those can you sews me a pair? I'll trade anything I'm capable of giving.... unfortunetly I can't cook, but I have other skills!!!!
I'll try and make better communication later, but I'm on the road-ish right now- back in SC, Cali, and tommorow we head out for CO springs with a pickup full of stuff, then on to Chicago. I'll be back in humble idiotic Okemos on the 6th of June....

I am sooooooo excited. I need a break from life... i mean, i've been travelling, but its still so busy and hectic and I have fifteen boxes to unpack. I also havn't met enough romantic men in awhile but everyone says england is the wrong place for that so i guess i have to settle for hugs and poi
