Hey, does anyone have an opinion on magpies? Can’t decide if I like them or not, they eat ducklings and yet they’re a pretty cool colour. And it’s not good seeing one on their own so you’re always looking out for multiple magpies… Just a thought…. I only ask as my practice poi were lying on the ground t'other day and magpie tried to pinch one of the ribbons!

Magpies in London are messed up, they seem to be 3 times as big as magpies everywhere else! I don't mind them, they look pretty and at least they seem smarter than lots of other birds.

What does everyone say when they see said ornithological creature?
'Hello Mr. Magpie, how are the wife and kids?'
'Break this ring' *holding out ring made with thumb and forefinger*
*spit on the floor*
*walk around in a circle three times*
'look at that' *point at bird*

(Can you imagine someone with severe to fatal OCD attempting all of the above, in one hit ubbloco

Pull my pin out, roll me in to a room and see what happens ubbloco

" Morning Mr Magpie, how's your wife and family?" is my usual follwed by "Look at that" if I have a mate nearby. Alhtough have been known to grab random strangers as I'm fairly superstitious....

magpies are pretty much just ravens that are not entirely black - same mannerisms for the most part, same "too smart for a birds own good" intelligence, etc.

I like 'em though. and they eat pidgeon chicks too, and I am not at all fond of pidgeons - think they are winged rats. actually I like rats, but not pidgeons.

The collective noun for magpies is a tiding.

I hate them angry In magpie season I get attacked every day. no matter which direction I walk my dogs, they will stalk me the whole way! Usally a couple of blocks from their tree. censored

Never hold your farts in! They travel up your spine, go into your brain and that's where shitty idea's come from.

I have a funny story about a "friend" of mine. When she was a rebellious youth, her and another friend went day tripping in country Australia. Walking along on a brisk spring day in the peak of psychadelic confusion, the young woman is suddenly attacked by a rogue magpie and her head is pecked at several different times. Laughing and screaming all at once, she tries desperately to summon the coordination to run away....

She's never been the same since. peace
