hiya, i signed up under another name but never bothered to use it then, but now that im visiting the forums and are moving out of this....lovely job corps center in astoria oregon [they are giving me crap about swinging poi, ill detail if you PM me about it] and to a more spin friendly Portland area, i figure it doesnt hurt to say hi to other, so um, Hiya!

im a job corps student in the lovely near dead town of astroai oregon and i finished up my training as a Certified nurses assistant and as a Home builders institute sponsored Facilities maintanence, im leaving the 20th to the city of bremerton where i will reside with a ladyfriend of mine for a week then move to my soon-to-be place of residence of Oregon city, Oregon USA
I love spinning poi and are working on staffing right now [im redesigning my 3/4 PVC staff to incorporate Glowsticks] and as a former militery brat i been about the country before leaving my parents to go to job corps...
maybe i should list a few thigns to explain myself a bit more

i get hounded by security when i practice in the middle of a baseball feild where i can watch for incoming idiots, i mean fellow jobbies who want to run into my poi ...but im good at dodging them....but forsome reason "some one might get hurt" when clearly i swing in an area where no one could be pummled and should they get hurt for walking into it, its their fault for not watching where they were going.....then again if you can prove to me those fuzzy poi thats sold on this site with break-away ballchain chain's can be a serious threat to some one, then maybe ill go back to my fishing line and jack chain set up....which wasnt considered dangerous....
my favorite sport is human stupidity but appearantly im a professional athlete in it...
anyways...
but the plus side is they say its alright for me to spin in my dorm room!....which is about the size of a large closet....i can butterfly and weave my heart out in there....but theres no room for any other moves....lately i been sneaking to the back of res 3 and spinning there, no securit officers gonna bug me that that is a potentially dangerous place to swing caue its virtually private!!!....
gah anyways any other info?

as per showing it can do no harm i tried that and only one security gaurd out of the 7 we have has trouble with me spinning , he will say " id rather no one be hit at all" but hes just looking out for everyones safety but he takes things to an unessicery extreme....besides...my attitude is if your walking out into a base ball feild during a bright sunny day and you manage to walk into some one swinging bright yellow fuzzy balls about them on shiny ball chain....you deserve to be hit... i keep watch for idiots when i spin and people do stupid things, my favorite one they have been doing lately is make like they are gonna run at me...my simple little riddance for this is to clap my hands together and let the poi wrap about them and wait for them to leave and pick up where i left off, never have i hit some one else by accident....=3
Hobby's: i spin, fish and make music...and play on my playstation if that counts...but more on my laptop
my instruments of choice are a 6/7 string guitar, turntables, my Microkorg @ Roland TR-707 and my laptop which i happily make most of my beats using Fruityloops 5.1.0 with SYTRUS VST/DXi and various ther features operating as well as a few custom VSTi's like the jx220 and the boobass and VB-101 emulator i found... as you imagin i spend lots of my spare time creating techno and metal =3
like my trades i speak little bits of various languages but are a master of none but English, i can understand spanish and mexican slang pretty well thanks to various chats with people i have taken care of [im a nurses assistant & caregiver, and Home Builders Institute student] but it takes a little bit for me to seak it well enough, how ever i have a pretty good japanese vocabulary but i have little hope in speaking anything i know mainly cause i dont communicate enough with it..

its weird... I recently had a burn at my school and the security (we call em porters), they sat down and watched
