i'm Shu a FireDancer from South Africa. Visited here a long time ago! It's looking really great now! WD
I've been playing with fire toyz (Poi mainly) and thingz for about 3 years now. I jam with:
Poi (in any form)
Majick Stick
Staff
Devil Sticks
AstroJaxx
Juggling Balls & Rings (Still Gotta get the battons/clubs right)
Sword
Hula-Hoop
Rope Dart
and some crazy ideas tht i should have killed myself with!
I've also taken up a couple of other movement forms to complement these...
Latin/American & Ballroom Dance
Salsa Dance
Yoga
Capoeira (a little bit)

Oh man!!
Thats the one thing I really miss about SA is the festivals. Flux, Rustlers, woodstock and Splashy Fen, oh man the last splashy I went to was 2002!!! The festivals here are amazing, but its just not the same

South Africa? That's exciting, my Dad lived there for 10 years. One of his jobs was that he drove the tourists around in jeeps around a national park. I can't remember which one but I will get back to you on that one, I promise. He's told me so many unbelievable stories about his times overseas...especially in South Africa.
I want to go there but he says the parts here lived in aren't as safe as it was 20 years ago.

The Kruger National Park is fantastic!
did you know that the whole of england would fit into this park!? It's huge!
Been there once before with my family! would love to go again sometime...
I've grown up in smaller versions around Kwa-Zulu Natal! It's an awsome lifestyle!
