wave Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too.

Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.

Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing. biggrin

Thank you! hug No more cake! no I just can't eat any more. All I want is a cheese sandwhich yes

Birthday was OK I guess, lots of people didn't make it because of the snow, but that didn't stop my house from getting rediculously wrecked. Bloody clumsy wreckheads! Ben's had a bit of a bee in his bonnet too so we have spent the past week mostly arguing and then making up, duck which is fine I guess.
soapbox And I get to spend Christmas once again eating food I don't particularly like and pretending to be all sweet and nice infront of other peoples parents, when really I just want to roll around in my own muck and eat nothing but doritos and watch John Hughes movies. Roll on 2011. old

Merry Christmas Everyone! santahat

laugh3 You can come to ours - We have sweets and um not much else, I think I need to go shoppa....

Come and be nasty at ours smile You can bring ben if you like but if he's bad we can lock him on the balcony for you and he can plead through a baby monitor to be let back into the warm.

THAT's how you should treat a man wink

For better or worse right? laugh3 Defenitly going to have to re-write our wedding vows...

I can't be mean to him, he's too pretty. Unforunately that means that he gets his way most of the time, and I get to moan about it constantly...because I'm vocal like that wink When he grows old, loses all his hair, and starts to wrinkle he's going to get it though.

I've managed to get him to agree to spend Christmas in Brighton next year, so it's not all doom and gloom. grin

Hello gorgeousness! My my it has been a long time! hug I'm good thank you. Planning my wedding for August and just got a new job with a small travel company that organises Stag and Hen parties! I will be training and coaching the 20 people who are on the phones to be better sales people, so it's all very exciting. It will be a very welcome change to training people how to sell warranties to people who don't want them in corporate hell!

How are you loveliness? smile

I'm pretty good thanx - leastways I'm happy so the shiznit doesn't bother me. Am sooooo looking forward to Play this year, there's been a gaping hole that nothing quite fills in the summer.

Will you be there or will the wedding take over?

No festies this I am afraid, don't have the time and certainly don't have the cash. The only festy I really go to these days anyway is southern lights in Dorset, but even that is probably not going to happen until next year. cry

I have requested the friday for SL and I have requested the 12th & 15th August off just in case I change my mind (and for you my dear wink ).
Thing is I can't really leave Marie alone to handle tiny baby AND dominic for the weekdays leading up to SL it's not fair on her and I don't want to spend all my summer away from my new Boy, he's only tiny for such a short time I want to fix it in my memory for when dementia sets in (probably around October).

I actually want to spend this summer using holiday to do fun things with the kids rather than work my ass off to earn money, or so others can have a wicked time this year. I have years to do that but only a short time with the boys being little so I plan to make the most of being a dad.

mental note to double check baby sitter for August laugh3 hug

have you noticed how easy it has become to spot our intro threads... we appear to be the only ones with thousands of posts whilst the rest seem a little flighty with under 10 wink

does this make us veterans now tongue2

laugh3 Missing you guys too. hug kiss Where are you now Dougie and what are you doing??

He's the love of my life Jen! His name is Ben and he went to university with one of my friends here in Brighton. I met him when he was down visiting, and at a few festivals (bigger ones like Bestival). He used to live in London so it was a long distance thing for a while, but then he moved to Brighton and now we live together in a lovely little one bed place with a garden on the outskirts of brighton. Been together for about 4 years now and getting hitched in August.

I start a new job on Monday training sales people in teh travel inductry. A small company that mostly organises package holidays, stag and hen parties, so very nervous and excited!

Looking into honeymoons, but we won't be able to have one until next year due to holiday allowance and funds, but thinking Thailand- (well Koh Samui and Koh Pangan anyway) and in a few years- BABIES!!!! grin

It has indeed been a fair old while. It looks like I am off to Oman. An absolutely beautiful country, as I remember it. Really looking forward to it. They are all plans at the moment, but if things come together, you never know what could happen. Hope things are well with you, and hopefully see you soon. xXx
