Tonight on the Animal Planet there was a show on about dragons confirming they existed. A body was found in the Carpathian mountains. The corpse had a sack full of hydrogen and a specialized sack that held platinum in it which would react to create fire. The female was 6 years old and had a 20 foot wing-span. I would say more but I have to finish watching. Here's the animal planet website:

Oh the frend that called me up to have me watch this didn't wait to see the end and the whole thing was fake. It was all based on what if people found a body but they didn't say anything about that until the end. What a rip off!!! Man I guess that will teach me to jump to conclusions. Now I remember why I never watch tv.

Just because its on tv doesn't mean its real.

Rather, I think the program takes the what if approach. At least that's what the website says.

Cheers!

Note: Rovo managed to write that it was a fake while I was writing my post. wink

I saw it on Terestrial TV in the UK. It was made by the Discovery Channel, but it is entirely fictitious. Shame though. frown

Well the title really should have given it away guys. "Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real"

I watched it and thought it was fantastic but then I've always believed in dragons.

I'm pretty sure there was a bit at the beginning that stated that it was not a true story.

I thought it was great though, really cleverly done. and it could be true, that's what i liked about it. Even if you know it's not real, it makes sense, and it seems real.... There's a book though that we have called 'flight of the dragon' or something, very similarly done, but about 30 years old now... so that's two different sources, similar theories, it seems blatantly obvious to me, dragons are real.... smile

if it makes no sense that's because it's NOn-sense.

You mean like 'what if I could learn a simple 5 beat weave or a backwards anything in this lifetime'? With or without platinum! wink
